Admission Requirements

Who are eligible to enroll in the graduate program on land administration and management?
Prospective students who have practical experience in land assessment, administration and management are eligible to enroll. Those who have specializations not related to land administration and management may be accepted on a probationary basis.

Applicants seeking admission to the Diploma, Master or Master of Science in Land Administration and Management must be holders of bachelor’s degree from any recognized institution. To qualify for regular admission status, a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 2.0 or equivalent is required. However, applicants with GPA lower than the prescribed rating may be admitted on probationary status.

How do I apply to Graduate School at VSU?
Submit the following requirements to the VSU Graduate School:

  1. Accomplished application form (downloadable here);
  2. Official transcript of records bearing the official seal of your school;
  3. Candid appraisal by at least two former professors or supervisors. Accomplished GS Form No. 2 (also downloadable here) must be sent directly to the Office of the Graduate School by separate mail; and
  4. A non-refundable application fee in bank draft or money order remitted to VSU.

The Bureau of Immigration has also authorized VSU to accept foreign students. Foreign students are required to submit requirements above. In addition, they have to submit the following:

  1. Seven (7) copies of Personal History Statement (downloadable here) accomplished and signed by the applicant;
  2. Three (3) copies of affidavit/proof of adequate financial support duly notarized/executed by the financial sponsor;
  3. A certification of English Proficiency or an acceptable score in the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL), which is required for applicants whose native language is not English; and
  4. Three (3) photocopies of passport pages where name, photo, birth date and place appear.
